Mansfield has a new revitalization organization targetting downtown Mansfield. It looks like they'll be doing some pretty interesting stuff with cooperation from Mansfield University, Borough, and local community members. They're first major project will be a four-screen movie theatre to show first run movies and provide a venue for local arts and cultural actiivites. The other projects on the list include a 24 hour diner, full service bookstore, indoor family sports center (The YMCA?) and a world class mountain bike course.
The Mansfield Downtown Development Corporation was formed in 2009 to help revitalize downtown Mansfield for the benefit of residents, high school and university students and visitors.
