17th Annual Blossburg Coal Festival
May 20-23 2009
Gates open at 5 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Gates open at 8 AM on Saturday, but things don't really get started over there until after the parade.
$3 for a pin at the gate which gets you in for the week.

Saturday
- Sleezy Chicken - 9 AM over at the Bloss Holiday.
- Kiwanis Chicken - 11 AM over on the Island
Wednesday, May 20th
- Ralph-O the Magician. Sponsored by Lemon's Pharmacy
Thursday, May 21st
- Ward Manufacturing and HMAC night - Free admission with your ID Card.
- Wristband Night
- 7 PM - White River Band
- 7 PM - Boy Scout Cake Auction
Friday, May 22nd
- 6 PM - Prince and Princess Pageant
- 7 and 9 PM - One Lane Bridge Variety Show (featuring Country and Oldie Music)
Saturday, May 23rd
- 8 AM - 5K race lineup at the Island Park
- 9:30 AM - Car show registration, Vintage Snowmobile Registration Starts, 2 & 4 wheel Coal Run registration at Momma's Restaurant with kickoff at 10:45 (dedicated in memory of Ray Frederick)
- 9 AM - Chicken BBQ by Sleezy in front of the Bloss Holiday (Benefits Blossburg Coal Festival)
- 11 AM - Parade on Main Street
- 11 AM Chicken BBQ by Kiwanis on the Island
- Noon - Festivities start in the Park including Denny Huber, Clown and Magic Shows at 1 & 3 PM. 3 Reptile shows, Demonstrations: Karate, Kick Boxing, Dance Recital, Horse Shoe Tournament and more.
- 2 PM - Pinewood Derby at the Car Show area (Football Field).
- 3:30 PM - Car show and Snowmobile awards.
- 7 and 8:15 PM - Timothy's Burden Band - Plays until the fireworks start.
